Musquiqui Chihying (b. 1985, TW) is an artist who subverts dominant cultural narratives through his audiovisual practice. As winner of the 2019 Han Nefkens Foundation production award, he has been commissioned to produce a new moving image work, The Lighting, screened in WIELS over the summer, fellow artist An van. Dienderen had a conversation with Chihying about this new work.
